High-quality kinetic screening and affinity characterisation
As with all FortéBio BLI systems, the Octet RED384 monitors binding events in real time to calculate on rates (ka), off rates (kd), and affinity constants (KD).
Sixteen parallel, independent channels for maximum speed and flexibility
Each channel is independent of the others, allowing for analysis of different sample types simultaneously. Analysis can be done using a single channel or up to 16 channels.

High throughput quantitation and binding kinetics
IgG titre determination of a full 96-well plate can be performed in less than 20 minutes and kinetic screens of up to 384 samples performed in 1.25 hrs. In addition, the sample plate compartment is compatible with 384-well plates allowing for even more throughput.
Fluidics-free Dip and Read™ format reduces assay time and maintenance cost
As with all FortéBio BLI systems, the Octet RED384 utilises FortéBio’s Dip and Read™ technology with biosensors dipping into samples in a 96- or 384-well plate format. With no fluidics involved, all Octet systems including the RED384 are highly robust.
