Description

Octet HTX offers unprecedented speed – antibody quantitation, kinetics, epitope binning, and much more. From IgG titre to epitope binning, the Octet HTX system offers label-free molecular interaction analysis with state-of-the-art high throughput platforms that facilitate the rapid characterisation and development of biologics drug molecules. The Octet HTX offers superior versatility over the RED384 for higher-throughput applications, possessing 16 spectrometers with flexible assignment to dedicated or shared channels.

High-quality kinetic screening and affinity characterisation

As with all FortéBio BLI systems, the Octet HTX monitors binding events in real time to calculate on rates (ka), off rates (kd), and affinity constants (KD).

Simultaneously reads 8, 16, 32, 48 or 96 wells 

The Octet HTX provides design flexibility that allows users to analyse 8, 16, 32, 48, or 96 samples at a time allowing for customised throughput, up to 96 different sample types simultaneously. 

High sensitivity and versatility to detect a wide range of molecules

The Octet HTX system detects a diverse range of biomolecules from molecules as small as 150 Da, to proteins to mammalian cells. The highest sensitivity is achieved in 8- and 16- channel formats, with individual spectrometers dedicated to each channel.

The Dip and Read assay format allows off-rate analysis of clones to be performed rapidly, even in crude samples, using ready-to-use biosensors off the shelf.

96-well plate quantitation in as little as two minutes

IgG titre determination of a full 96-well plate can be completed in two minutes. In addition, sample plate compartment is compatible with 384-well plates allowing for even more throughput.

Epitope binning 32 x 32 epitope binning in less than eight hours

With the HTX, analysis of epitope binning matrices can be completed in record time, with 32 x 32 in less than eight hours. A powerful epitope binning analysis software enables easy visualization of data sets and provides a flexible data matrix that can accommodate a variety of cross-blocking formats.

Fluidics-free Dip and Read format reduces assay time and maintenance cost

As with all FortéBio BLI systems, the Octet HTX utilises FortéBio’s Dip and Read technology with biosensors dipping into samples in a 96- or 384-well plate format. With no fluidics involved, all Octet systems including the HTX are highly robust.
