The Porvair Kbiosystems automated application systems utilise robust and proven custom designed label print engines. These systems work directly with OEM label creation software along with proprietary software that enables the creation of label position and the ability to run the automation simultaneously.
Versatile labelling compatibility
Kbio’s label applicators are able to use multiple manufactures plasticware across applications, having the ability to apply to both capped or open SBS plates and tubes racks, custom holders and petri dishes.
Easy operation and reliable integration
Engineered with robustness in mind, Kbio’s label applicators are easy to program and are operator and integrator friendly. Individual programmable macros simplify the application process, eliminating the need to make adjustments between plate types and label position.
Label validation
Using a fully integrated PC allows you to connect live to your network LIMs system to allow data transfer and validation of application label. Using the onboard optional verification mode, you can print and verify all labels to ensure no unreadable labels enter your workflow.

Features
Simultaneous label printing and automated application
Kbio’s label applicators utilise proprietary software, enabling the creation of label position and the ability to run the automation simultaneously. Integrated with third party software, Bartender is used to direct drive data to printer. Alternative data creation can be used upon request.
Versatile label application
Using Z axis motion, Kbio’s label applicators offer the integrators ultimate applicator with no need to adjust between plate types and label position simply call the application macro and apply the label. This motion allows the use of ultra shallow to deep well blocks, to petri dishes, to multi labels per face. Z axis drive also allows us to move and verify labels rather than a static single try barcode reader.
